Weight Management


At Pristine Health Clinic, we offer a unique multi-disciplinary approach to your health and wellness.  Our Weight Management Clinic is facilitated by a team that includes physicians, nurses, and a health coach/counsellor.  Our program is lifestyle-based, which means that we approach weight management from an education, skill building, behaviour management perspective.  We empower our clients to manage their health and weight with a powerful toolkit of knowledge and support.  Our goal is to work with you to create sustainable change and a healthy lifestyle that you can enjoy, not just tolerate.  We will explore foods you love and activities that you enjoy.  Each client is different and so, our program is not a one size fits all method.  In addition, we look at all of the factors in your life that will contribute to your success, including such things as relationships, work and sleep.

Our goal is to work with you to attain and sustain your best weight. Your best weight is different from an ideal weight.  Your best weight is whatever weight you achieve while living the healthiest lifestyle you can truly enjoy.  For sustainable weight management, you must be able to enjoy your life - the foods you eat and the activities you do.  
Meet with our health coach for a free consultation to find out if this program is right for you. This program is partially covered by Alberta Health.  The uninsured portion is eligible for reimbursement through many extended health benefits plans.
